We are offering as a special set, both of the Geoff Hunt documentaries.
Geoff Hunt: Portrait of a Marine Artist This visually stunning documentary offers rare insight into the brilliant artist who painted all twenty-one covers for Patrick O'Brian's Aubrey-Maturin novels.
Geoff Hunt: Painting in the Studio Platinum Award Winner. Worldfest Film Festival 2006. "Geoff Hunt: Painting in the Studio" was inspired by the visually stunning documentary "Geoff Hunt: Portrait of a Marine Artist." During the production of the documentary Geoff was beginning the sketch for a painting, which would ultimately be titled "First Shots." It depicts the first cannon shots fired at Lord Nelson's ship, Victory, as it approached the famous Battle of Trafalgar in 1805. Geoff allowed a rare, candid shoot of his work in progress, from the research process to his phenomenal detailed technique of painting ships, sails, the sea and sky. Six months later we see him working on the final painting. This is a chance to watch a world-class artist build a painting.
At $39.95 that's a savings of more than $5.00 if you had bought the titles separately. And, as always, shipping is free.
