New England Lobster Boat Half Hull

The Beal Island Lobster boat is arguably one of the prettiest boat designs ever created.

With a sharp bow entry, flat stern, graceful sheer line and full keel, this hull design is well suited to the gasoline engines which played a large part in it's original development in Maine in the early 1900's.

The Hampton Boats, used extensively in the latter 1800's are commonly thought to be the predecessors to this efficient design and were well adapted to the implementation of the gasoline engines which replaced sail power. These boats have proven themselves on many a rough Northeastern fishing ground.

Mounted on a mahogany stained backing board 12 inches by 5 1/4 inches with a solid brass engraved plaque, the actual model length is 9 3/4 inches. It is hand packed in bubble wrap along with an information card in a white collectors box with color label.

This historically accurate wall display model would look great in any room in the house, over the fireplace or on the wall of your office.

A great gift for any boat lover of any age.
