A beautifully detailed 1/4" = 1' scale half model of the longest mass production recreational sailboat in history.
Designed by Frank Butler in 1970, there have been over 16,000 Catalina 22's built to date.
This model was made from the original prototypes created by the artist in a limited run of 500. It is mounted on a mahogany stained backing board with an engraved brass plate and packaged in bubble wrap inside a white collectors box with color label. An information card with history and boat specs is included.
An excellent decorative addition to any cottage, den, kids room or office.
