Block Island
Cuttyhunk
Martha's Vineyard
Nantucket
Newport
In this adventure, we cruise on a small ship to some of New England's most beautiful island ports. The first stop, Cuttyhunk, with just a quarter-mile of paved roads, offers a glimpse of the natural beauty of these North Atlantic islands.
Next we explore Martha's Vineyard, from the famous Black Horse Tavern to the historic Flying Horses Carousel at Oak Bluffs.
We tender into Nantucket, with its cobblestone streets and rich whaling history, to learn how the Nantucket Basket came into being. Soon we're at Block Island's Old Harbor, gateway to the great Salt Pond, lighthouses and spectacular Victorian hotels.
Our trip ends by docking at Fort Adams in Newport for a front row look at the 4th of July fireworks. We also tour Marble House, one of Newport's famed Gilded Age cottages and the International Tennis Hall of Fame.
