Cruising America's Waterways takes a spring voyage aboard the Nantucket Clipper along a stretch of the Intercoastal Waterway.
The program features Charleston's stellar architecture and attractions including Fort Sumter and the South Carolina Aquarium. Other stops include the second oldest city in South Carolina, Beaufort; and Georgia's "First City", Savannah.
Upon arrival in at Brunswick, Georgia, there's time to explore Jekyll Island and nearby St. Simons Island. St. Mary's, Georgia is our port for a tendered visit to Cumberland Island, the largest of the state's barrier islands.
Our ship docks in Jacksonville, Florida, where we visit The Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens, head for kayaking on Amelia Island and tour the birthplace of the American Red Cross lifesaving program.
